Viggle: Hi Elvis, thank you for joining us! Tell us a bit about your background!

Elvis: I’ve been passionate about animation for over 20 years but never worked in the industry. Instead, I worked as a camera operator and producer for corporate webcast Zoom calls.

A couple of years ago, I took a class that introduced me to mocap instruments. My work has primarily been in 3D and After Effects, but I’ve always been fascinated by the idea of turning video into cartoons. Viggle has been a game-changer in finally making that dream achievable.

Viggle: How did you first discover Viggle?

Elvis: I joined the Viggle Discord community a while ago and was immediately intrigued. I told my best friends and brother about it, knowing this tool could transform us into anything, even monsters!

Later, I returned to it after seeing John Itawo’s tutorial on Viggle. His example really sparked my creativity. Until then, I had mainly seen people using Viggle for dance content, but John’s use case showed me how much more was possible.

Viggle: What does your production workflow with Viggle look like?

Elvis: I’ve been experimenting with a workflow to test if Viggle could be used for a larger project, like a movie. Here’s the process I’ve been using:

1. Image Generation: I started with MidJourney to create visuals for the project.

2. Original Character Act: I act out the movements, like walking, which Viggle uses for style transfer.

3. Camera Tracking: I use Jetset to track camera movements.

4. Relighting: Beeble SwitchLight helps me refine the lighting to make it more dynamic.

5. Upscaling: I finish with Topaz to enhance the video quality.

Viggle: What do you think about the platform so far?

Elvis: I primarily use the web version on my iPhone. I love the straightforward interface—it’s easy to use, even for someone just starting.

That said, I’ve noticed a few areas for improvement. For example, V2 isn’t as sharp as I’d like, so I’m looking forward to V3. The multi-template feature is excellent, but it takes a bit longer to process clips—about 5 to 10 minutes. I’m also more familiar with the tracking feature, which is incredibly useful.

Viggle: What excites you most about AI and the future of filmmaking?

Elvis: AI has opened up so many opportunities for individual filmmakers like me. It’s allowing us to achieve a quality that was previously unimaginable. With Viggle, three actors can play 60 characters, each with a new skin, all from your phone.

I’ve always been a science fiction and horror guy, but I couldn’t explore those genres because they’re so expensive to produce. My ultimate goal is to create an independent film using AI tools. It’s thrilling to think that this is finally within reach.

Viggle: What’s next for you?

Elvis: I’m always looking to collaborate with other filmmakers and push the limits of what these tools can do. AI is giving us the chance to create stories that we could only dream about before. I’m excited to see where this journey takes me—and how tools like Viggle will continue to shape the future of filmmaking.

With his innovative approach and passion for storytelling, Elvis proves that combining AI and creativity can unlock new possibilities in filmmaking. As he works toward creating his first independent film, Viggle is proud to be part of his journey.
