Meet sherrybeary: a metaverse explorer, multimedia artist, and the creative mind behind vibrant avatar worlds. From her early days in fine art to her current obsession with virtual spaces, sherrybeary has carved out a unique path. She’s the mastermind behind Zepeto’s expressive avatars and a passionate user of http://Viggle.ai. We recently sat down with her (virtually, of course) to chat about her journey, and what unfolded was a story of curiosity, creativity, and a love for the metaverse that’s downright infectious.
From Fine Art to the Metaverse#
sherrybeary is a true artist. She started out with art forms like linocuts and graphic design from college. “I always did my art.” In April 2021, she stumbled into Decentraland—a virtual world built on blockchain. “I’d never played video games in my life,” she said, yet existing as an avatar hooked her. She explored around there for years and created her first wearable #PartyDressRGB, available in the DCL marketplace. Next she jumped to http://Hyperfy.io, where she built sherrybeary world, The Grotto and Diamond Candy World. The latter is home to her fictional girl group, Diamond Candy—six avatars, all extensions of herself across different timelines—a teaser of her storytelling ambitions.
Zepeto: A Love Letter to Avatar Expression#
Then came Zepeto. sherrybeary loves Zepeto. “I can’t say enough about how much I love Zepeto,” she said. The platform’s stunning avatars, dance animations, and cooperative community won her over. Zepeto felt warm—full of welcoming, friendly comments from kind people and follow-for-follow positivity. As part of the Z Challenge Crew, she earns through assignments, crafting content like Squid Game-inspired videos. For sherrybeary, Zepeto is “a beautiful metaverse” anyone can enjoy, even without spending a dime.
Viggle: Unlocking New Dimensions for Avatars#
sherrybeary discovered Viggle from the Viggle x ZEPETO collaboration. Suddenly, her avatars could do anything.
Viggle: How’s Viggle fit into your work?
sherrybeary: With Viggle, I can make my Zepeto girls do anything—it’s wild and so easy. You just put a character image there and it will do the same motion as in your video/template you choose. For example, I made one of my girls do figure skating. I have a lot of themes; one of my themes is ballet.
In ZEPETO, there’re loads of ballet stuff, the pre-made 3D modeling of ballet moves that users can use, but sometimes if you want to do other stuff, like a double backflip that sherrybeary wants to make, it’s hard to find it in ZEPETO. This is where Viggle comes in. Except from using our existing templates which contain moves like double backflip, you can also go to the web and find a video of that, put it in Viggle, and make your character move like that. sherrybeary is on this, combining Viggle and other tools like CapCut to achieve the best results.
A Perfect Synergy: Zepeto, Procreate, and Viggle Together#
Viggle: How do Zepeto, Procreate, and Viggle work together for you?
sherrybeary: It’s synergy. I draw my Diamond Candy girls in Procreate from scratch, then grab outfits I want from Zepeto, and hook it all up in Viggle to make them move how I see it. When Zepeto and Viggle came together, it was perfect. Things became very clear to me—I could take my girls anywhere, do anything with them. Every time I make a video, I gotta post it like 7000 times—I’m on YouTube, TikTok, Twitter, Instagram, Lemon8, Threads—I don’t wanna waste the content, I took the time to make it so I post it everywhere.
Viggle: What does this synergy and the avatar design mean to you?
sherrybeary: I use Zepeto clothes and IRL fashions on my avatar, but I also draw a lot of the clothes, so it’s a design tool for me too. I can imagine, draw, and design whatever clothes I want and it comes to life in Viggle, interpreting my design—I can see more texture to the fabric, I can see the fabric move. I am using these designs for my own original Zepeto and Roblox wearables—one sketch can become so much more. It’s an idea, a sketch, a video, a metaverse wearable—maybe one day a physical item you can wear. With these new tools, I use the metaverse as a medium of artistic expression.
The Future of AI and the Metaverse: sherrybeary’s Take#
So, what’s next? sherrybeary sees AI as a game-changer—not a crutch. “You have to have the idea in your mind,” she said, “You have to have come up with on your own. You have to be creative. You have to have your own vision, and AI is a tool to help you make it happen.” She imagines a future where creators like her become their own movie studios, no Hollywood required. In the metaverse, that’s already unfolding—tools like Viggle empower her to craft masterpieces solo.
A Forever Metaverse World Explorer#
sherrybeary calls herself a “metaverse explorer,” and it is the perfect description. From printmaking to pixelated flips, she’s built a world where avatars dance, dream, and defy limits. http://Viggle.ai is her trusty sidekick, unlocking possibilities she once only sketched. Her story’s still unfolding—so keep an eye on her channels, dive into the metaverse, and maybe, just maybe, start exploring your own avatar world. Using her own words: “I don’t know where we’re gonna end up, but I’m just gonna keep going.”
